WE FOCUS ON
Applications in heat transfer and thermal energy storage.
Our specialization is the practical using of Phase Change Material - PCM. We use the latent heat of a PCM for heating and cooling. The phase transition of the storage material from liquid to solid is used to save thermal energy.
In the background you can see a crystallized structure of a solid PCM. This is used in the application for cooling drinks with the CoolDownDrink-glasses.
Development & Design
We designed and developed the whole product. A special challange was making a food grade PCM.
Simulation & Calculation
It is really important to have the correct amount of thermal capacity and power for cooling and heating.
Prototyping & Measuring
Prototypes allow us to build products faster and proof our simulations to get real-world results.
